Rose C. Amoroso died Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Rome, NY, she resided in St. Louis, MO, before moving to East Brunswick 45 years ago. Prior to getting married in 1949, Rose worked for AT&T as a telephone operator. Mrs. Amoroso was a Communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood, for over 40 years. She was a member of The East Brunswick Women's Club, The East Brunswick Centurions, and many Bridge and craft groups. Rose had a love of beautiful flowers and her garden was a testament to that. She was also known for her delicious Italian cooking and baking and her house was always filled with angels.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, John Amoroso; two sons, Gregory of New York, and Joseph and his wife Clare of Freehold; two daughters, Kathleen and her husband Joseph of Monroe Township, and Mary Elizabeth of Hamilton; her four grandchildren, Rosemarie, John, James and Giulietta Rose; her sister Angeline and husband Phil, of Rome, NY, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
