Virginia Beach - Thomas Bryant Adams, 88, passed away on December 8, 2015, in his home.

Born in Bushnell, FL, he was the son of the late Vander and Ruth Adams. He was retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He was also a General Contractor and a member of the American Legion.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Roberta Adams, married January 10, 1953; daughters, Susan L. Swaim and husband Bob, Ruth E. Stange and husband Charles, and Lori A. Baer and husband Ted; son, Thomas W. Adams, all of Virginia Beach; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Inurnment will be private at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Virginia Beach S.P.C.A. or American Diabetes Association .
