"He was born Robert Bartley Adair on August 9, 1965 in Thibodaux, Louisiana to Billy Ray and Catherine Helen Arendal Adair. Billy graduated from high school in Louisiana and married Janie Dorrego. He was an oilfield worker and had worked for Knight Roofing in Abilene.
Survivors include his wife, San Juanita Adair of Merkel, Texas; daughters, Stephanie and Debra Adair of Merkel, Texas; Jessica Velasquez of Abilene, Texas; Ida and husband Sabino Gonzalas of Merkel, Texas; Linda and husband Jose Menvivar of Abilene, Texas; a son, Daniel and wife Elizabeth Velasquez of Abilene, Texas; and six grandchildren."
