Funeral services for longtime Wewoka resident and business owner Donna Deloris "Audie" Snider are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Wewoka with Rev. Amanda Lockwood officiating. Interment is to follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.

Donna Deloris "Audie" Snider passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with illness. She was born Nov. 23, 1942 in Maud to Franklin G. "Grimmie" and Loretta (Freeman) Butler. She attended Shawnee Public Schools and later received her GED from Wewoka Public Schools, and studied book-keeping and tax records at Seminole Junior College.

She recently retired as office manager/partner of Snider Printing Company due to poor health. Her former employers were Big Yank, Wewoka Custom Size and Wrangler in Seminole.

Donna "Audie" was raised in Shawnee and she was a member of the Wewoka community since 1963. She was a member of the Wewoka Band Boosters, Wewoka Quarterback Club and the First United Methodist Church, Wewoka. She was an avid reader, loved to spend time with her grandchildren and enjoyed growing houseplants and herbs, camping and fishing at Lake Tenkiller. She was an Eagle Scout Mother.

Donna and Floyd Snider were married Sept. 1, 1961 in Shawnee and two children were born to this union. They would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in two weeks.

Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include husband, Floyd Snider Sr. of the home; son, Floyd Snider Jr. and wife Carrinna of Wewoka; daughter, Donita Loman of Wewoka; grandchildren, Melody Burgin and husband Christopher Burgin, Sunnie Snider, Trenton Miller and Bryson Miller, great-grandchild, Donna Burgin; brother, Grover Butler of McAlester and sister, Darla and husband Ray Fountain of Dickson, Okla. Pallbearers will be Randy Chaney, Charlie Chance, Raymond Cain, Paul Loeffelholz, Keith Claybrook and Robin Chesser. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Williams, Darryl Uptegraft, Curtis Baker, Jeff Kanard, Steven Edwards, Bruce Wilkerson, Terry Miner, Mike Carter and Ken Chanthavisouk.
