Esther Martin Campbell, 75, wife of William T. "Buddy" Campbell and a resident of Cape Charles, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2006 at her residence. Born in Wythe County, Va. and reared in Bluefield, W.Va., Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Linsey Martin and Daisy Taylor Martin Cash. She was a housewife and a member of Full Gospel Church. A graveside service will be held at Cape Charles Cemetery, Cape Charles, on Thursday, Aug. 31, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Randy Lewis will officiate. Friends may call at Fox and Scott Funeral Home, Cape Charles, this evening, Aug. 30, from 7 to 8:30. Other than her husband, Mrs. Campbell is survived by her children, David Campbell and wife Vickie of Cape Charles, and Donny Campbell Sr. and wife Annette of Cape Charles; a sister, Anna Faye Staten of Buena Vista, Va.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, William T. Campbell Jr.; and a brother, Raymond Cash. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O. Box 316, Parksley, VA 23421. Arrangements were made by Fox and Scott Funeral Home, Cape Charles.
