Paul K. Plott, 80, of the 5600 block of Anthony Road, went to be with the Lord and his parents and two brothers on Nov. 13, 2003. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Paul retired from NORSHIPCO as supervisor of the Apprentice School in 1982 after 25 years of employment. He was a member of Diamond Springs Christian Church. Paul was a dedicated teacher; he loved to fish, loved his church and was very devoted to his wife and family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Callie Plott; daughter, Diana Haigh and her husband Paul of Yorktown; son, James Clemons and his wife Donna of Newport News; sister, Opal Freeman of Mocksville, N.C.; six grandchildren, Teresa Yarkey and her husband Jimmy of Gloucester, Kimberly Cameron and husband Bruce of Florida, Karen Good and her husband Brian of California, Paul Haigh and Joshua Haigh both of Yorktown and Michelle Drolet of Newport News; and five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Kristina, Lauren, Garrett and Paige.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel conducted by Pastor Carolyn Schwarz. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Diamond Springs Christian Church, 5612 Haden Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23455.
