Eystna Blunnie, 20, was found suffering from severe head and face injuries in the early hours of Wednesday morning, in Harlow, Essex.
She was taken by paramedics to Princess Alexandra Hospital but could not be saved, and police have now begun a murder investigation into her death and that of her unborn baby daughter.
Miss Blunnie was due to have her first child on Saturday.
