In Memory Of

Joseph (Joe) R. Davis

Born: April 04, 1941

Death: November 23, 2015

My name is Joe Davis, I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on April 4, 1941. I am preceded in death by my parents, John R. Davis, Jr. and Alice L. Davis; and my two furry friends, Mignon and Simone. I am survived by my wife, Barbara M. Davis; my brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Brenda Davis; my sister, Johnette Scogin; and my three children, Randy, Ashley and Joey.

I served four years in the 4158th USAR. I graduated from Byrd High in 1959, Louisiana Tech in 1963 and LSU School of Banking of the South. I was a Notary, and Vice President of Louisiana Bank & Trust.

My words to you are, "Don't ride your Harley drunk and never drag race into the sun. Ski above the water line"

My body has been donated to LSU Medical. No memorial; remember me as you do! I salute you for crossing my path.

The family would like to thank all of our friends and neighbors for your support. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you make donations to Pet Savers (petsaversshreveport.org)
