Dick Jensen spent his career as a mortician/funeral director. He was a graduate of La Sierra College (now La Sierra University) and California College of Mortuary Science. A compassionate professional, he was Vice President and General Manager of Weifels & Son mortuaries in Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley, California. His father, Fred B Jensen, was a Seventh-day Adventist pastor and a college professor of religion; his mother, Berniece Nelson Jensen, was a nurse. Mr. Jensen is survived by a son, Steven Douglas Jensen (Faye) of Grass Valley, CA; a daughter, Tamara Sue Jensen of Ketchum, OK; and two grandchildren.
