God set free the soul of Sally Ann Huffman, 55, of Washburn, MO, on November 22, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Sally was born December 31, 1959 in Bentonville to Edward and Alice Gundel. She is survived by one son Joshua Alan Huffman and wife Renee of Washburn, MO and one daughter Jessie Jo Custer and her husband Michael of Glennrock, Wy. and two granddaughters Isabell Huffman and Sky Ann Custer; siblings Rose Miles Vermeulen of Washburn, MO, Deloris Jobe of Pea Ridge, AK, Edward Gundel Jr of White Oak Hollow, MO, Larry Gundel of White Oak Hollow, MO, Mona Gundel of Seligman, MO., Carlene Owensby of Washburn, MO., Charlene Pickerirng, of Jacket, MO., David Gundel of White Oak Hollow, MO., Donald Gundel of White Oak Hollow, MO., Vickie Resz of White Oak Hollow, MO., Dennis Gundel of White Oak Hollow, MO., their spouses and many nieces and nephews.

While Sally trained in and became a dental assistant, her life’s passion was her family and painting. Sally was an outstanding artist in both decorative scenery and wildlife painting as well as murals and faux painting. Camping, volunteering and crafting with her granddaughters were her favorite past times. Her love of God, family and friends was obvious in all she touched. A loving mother and steadfast friend, her generosity, kindness and compassion were felt by all who knew her. Her smile will be missed and remembered fondly.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 24 at Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge and presided over by Pastor Bonnie Austin of the Ridge church in Pea Ridge.
