Charles Marvin Landing, 84, of Wilson passed away Saturday. His funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Larry Perry will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6-8 Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at 3501 Wales Place, Wilson.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Miriam Landing of the home; his daughters, Jackie Bass of Elm City, and Gail Medlin of Kenly; his granddaughters, Amie Whitehead and husband, Will of Wilson, and Tracy McKeel and husband, Jarrod of Wilson; his grandsons, Mitch Bass and wife, Kim of Wilson, and Jason Bass and wife, Jan of Savannah, Georgia; eight great-grandchildren, and a sister, Lillie Mae Eatmon of Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Landing and Dellar Jobe Landing.
