He was a retired employee of General Electric and a member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church since 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Katherine Inez Moore, Anna Louise Sweeney and Susan Gertrude Maloney. Also preceded him in death was three half-sisters and one half-brother.
Survivors include; a daughter, Marcia (Moore) Roberts and her husband, Mark Steven Roberts; and a son, Rodney Thomas Moore all of Louisville, Ky. Two sisters; Janet Faye Burton of Campbellsville, Ky. and Dorothy Joann Hamilton of Indiana. Three brothers; Victor Lee Moore of Springfield, Ky., Donald Mancel Moore of Louisville, Ky., and James Robert Moore of Lebanon, Ky.
A memorial service with family and friends, was held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the grave site in the New Market Cemetery with Rev. Steve Skaggs officiating.
