She was born Friday, January 16, 1925, the daughter of Virgil and Cora (Davis) Carroll in Mt. Carmel. Virginia was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastern Star and loved to crochet.
Left to cherish her memories are her children Patricia and husband Ron Peach of Mt. Carmel, Ralph and wife Sue Smith of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and Steve and wife Kathy Smith of Logansport, Indiana; eight grandchildren and twenty eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding Virginia in death were her parents, first husband Arthur L. “Sike” Smith, second husband William Wilkinson, grandchild Gail Osmon and great-grandchildren Dustin and Amber Osmon.
Services in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Reed conducting the service. Burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery, 1827 College Drive.
