Suwannee – Henry Q Blitch of Suwannee died Saturday at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville after a short illness. He was 73. Born in O' Brien, Mr. Blitch moved to Suwannee five years ago from Trenton. He was a retired serviceman for Florida Power Corp. and was a U S Army veteran who served in World War II. Mr. Blitch was a deacon and member of the Salt Creek Baptist church in Suwannee. Survivors include his wife, Ann Blitch of Suwannee; three daughters, Esther Lampp of Lakeland and Nancy Clark and Betty Durden, both of Trenton; two sons, Joseph Blitch of Trenton and Quinn Ray Blitch of Gainesville; a brother, Mardas Blitch of Horseshoe Beach; three sisters, Thelma Goolsby of Jacksonville, Lula Bell Smith of O'Brien and Leatha Wright of Lakeland; one step-daughter, Regina Watson of Bronson; two step-sons, Ricky Berryhill and Reggie Berryhill, both of Gulf Hammock; and 16 grandchildren.
