Ronald Clarence Brewer was born to Clarence Alfred "Cab" Brewer and Marvel Mate (Shorter) Brewer on January 27th, 1945, in Washington, D. C. The family worked and worshiped with the Southeast congregation during this time, while living in the Greenway Apartments in southeast Washington, D.C. He attended the Kimball "K" Elementary School on Minnesota Avenue.

In 1955, the family moved to Camp Springs, Prince Georges County, Maryland, but continued their association with the Southeast congregation. Mr. Brewer's father became one of the initial elders of that congregation, serving a number of years.

During this time, Ron completed is public school education at Camp Springs Elementary School, Surrattsville Junior/High School, and Surrattsville Senior High School, graduating in 1963. He then attended Oklahoma Christian College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for one year.

Mr. Brewer was initially drafted into the U. S. Army in 1965; but problems delayed that process. He volunteered for the draft in March 1966. He was sent to Fort Sam Houston in Austin, Texas, for field medic training. Transferred before the course was completed to Fort Jackson, South Caroline, and then to Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, North Carolina where he served until January, 1968.

It was at the Southeast congregation that Ronald met Miss Reba Dian "Diane" Brewer, who traveled from Jasper, Alabama to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. They married at the Southeast congregation, Dale Lemon officiating, on October 22nd, 1966. Daniel Paul Brewer was born in November, 1968 in Washington, D. C. and Christopher Adam Brewer was born in February 1975 in Washington, D.C. The family lived in Suitland, Maryland and then moved to Waldorf, Maryland in 1972. In 1980, they relocated to Overland Park, Kansas, until 2003 when Diane retired from the U S. Environmental Protection Agency. They moved to Jackson, Tennessee in 2003 and then to Delaware, Ohio in 2014.

While in high school, Ron began working for the U. S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. From 1961 to 1980, he worked for the Statistical Reporting Service. From 1980 to 2000, he worked for the National Information Technology Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He retired after 38 years of service, in 2000.

In 2003, Ron and Dian moved to Jackson, Tennessee. He enrolled in Freed-Hardeman University, graduating magna cum laude in 2009, with a degreeRon Brewer went home to the arms of his savior and friend, Jesus, on September 21, 2023.

Ron was born January 27, 1945 in Washington, DC to parents Cab and Marvel Brewer. He passed away on September 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents.

On October 22, 1966 he married his wife who he met at the Southeast Church of Christ in Washington, DC. Ron attended the University of Maryland where he earned a degree in Economics. After military service he went to work for the Department of Agriculture. He worked in Washington, DC and the regional office in Kansas City where he was in charge of multi-million dollar contracts on mainframe computers. He retired in Kansas City and then he and his wife relocated to Jackson, TN for Ron to earn a Bible Degree at Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, TN. While there his wife chose to work for Freed Hardeman while Ron worked on his Bible degree. They worshipped at the North Jackson Church of Christ. Ron taught Bible classes and him and Diane were active members of the visitation program. Thy participated each Sunday afternoon in devotionals at nursing homes. Their gift to others was hospitality. They gifted their home to hundreds of Christians while there. Ron's passions was studying and teaching the Word of God. Run was a true Bible scholar.

Ron and his wife moved to Columbus, Ohio to be near their son and family. Ron and his wife worshipped at the Fishinger and Kenny Church of Christ where Ron was a Deacon and taught Bible classes as long as he was able.
