William is survived by his wife, Debbie Watson Saunders of the home; his two sons, Tommy Saunders and wife, Christy of Bailey and Barry Saunders and wife, Tracy of Wilson; his six grandchildren, Jeremiah Saunders, Liza Grace Saunders, Ellary Faith Saunders, Kayla Saunders, Bryleigh Saunders and expected grandson, Ayden Saunders; his sister, Maggie Saunders of Elm City and his brother, Wayne Saunders of Macclesfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Green and Ida Pearl Bass Saunders.
