Rebecca Ann Laber Gilbert, age 22, of Olive Hill, Ky., passed away Tuesday morning, October 27, 2015, at her residence.
She was born November 24, 1992, in Rowan County, Ky., a daughter of Keith Laber of Maysville, Ky., and the late Teresa Ann Criswell Leadingham.
Rebecca was a homemaker and enjoyed raising animals, cooking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Ann Criswell Leadingham, and her father-in-law, Richard Gilbert.
In addition to her father, Rebecca is survived by her husband of three years, Charles Michael Gilbert of Olive Hill, Ky., three brothers, Thomas Laber of Portsmouth, OH., and Hunter Flaugher and Caden Flaugher, both of Grayson, Ky., four sisters, Melissa Smith, Shanna Leadingham, Brianna Leadingham, and Christa Leadingham, all of Olive Hill, Ky., one nephew, Braylon Smith of Olive Hill, Ky., her mother-in-law, Carrie Middleton Gilbert of Olive Hill, Ky., and 13 nieces and nephews by marriage. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother David Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Easterling Cemetery in Olive Hill.
