Mary Pauline Baucum, 83, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., died Tuesday,
March 30, 1999 at Sunrise Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born
on August 11, 1915 in Taylor, Ark.
She was the daughter of James Leonard Smith and Mary Frances
Dotson Smith, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in
death by two husbands, Torby Haynes and Dan Richard Baucum, Jr. She
was a Jackson Methodist and a librarian.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 3 in Bailey
Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Old Shongaloo Cemetery.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Gene and Billie
Haynes, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn; three sisters: Vera Cherry, of Taylor,
Ark., Josephine Theviault, of Terryville, Conn. And Cora Whitehead, of
Taylor Ark; one granddaughter, Paige Hodnett and her husband, Stuart,
of Somerville, Tenn; two great-grandchildren, Luke and Lane Hodnett, of
Somerville, Tenn.
