Dunkirk - Robert (Bob) K. Adams, 58, of Dunkirk, IN, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at his residence.
Bob was born in Muncie, IN on May 25, 1957, a son of Carolyn Joyce (Gilbert) Adams, of Dunkirk, IN, and the late Adrian Thomas Adams.
He was a graduate of Dunkirk High School class of 1975, served in the U.S. Army Air Force, and was co-owner at Air Management Technologies, Inc. Bob was a member of Dunkirk American Legion post 227, Dunkirk Moose Lodge, enjoyed mushroom hunting, reading, NASCAR, Colts, his Harley Davidson, to fly kites with his grandchildren, fishing, playing the acoustic guitar and spending time with friends and family.
Bob is survived by his mother Carolyn Joyce, wife of Delmar Armstrong of Dunkirk, IN; two sons, Thomas Kent, husband of Ashley Adams, of Greenbrier, AR and Wilburn Ryen, husband of Nikki Adams, of Dunkirk, IN; five sisters, Teresa Sain, of Muncie, IN, Joyce, wife of Pat Boggs, of Muncie, IN, Joella Adams-Goen wife of Steve Goen, of Muncie, IN, Teri, wife of Steven Johnk, of Dunkirk, IN, Denna, wife of Larry Sumwalt, of Muncie, IN; grandchildren, Carmen and Logan of AR; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Adrian Thomas Adams; and two brothers, Danny Thomas Adams and Stacey Todd Adams.
Friends are invited to call Monday, October 26, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at MJS Mortuaries - Dunkirk Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at MJS Mortuaries - Dunkirk Chapel, Dunkirk, IN, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 with Pastor Randy Davis officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey, IN. Military Honors will be conducted by the Dunkirk American Legion Post 227.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Dunkirk American Legion Post 227 or the Dunkirk Moose Lodge.
