George Adam* Nevel died at his home near St. Petersburg, May 21, 1924, after an illness of one year from creeping paralysis. He was the son of John A. and Phraney (Ashbaugh) Nevel, both deceased, and was born July 6, 1867, and aged 56 years, 10 months and 15 days at the time of his death. He was married to Jennie Etta Fulmer, January 29, 1894, at Alum Rock. To this union were born seven children, all of whom with their mother, survive him, as follows, James Calvin, of Brackenridge, Llewellyn Dickey, of Akron, Ohio, Dorothy Leona Harnish, of near St. Petersburg, and Harold Edward, Roy Edgar, Ruth Evelyn and Elva Fulmer, at home. There also survive six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Jane Wallace, Pittsburgh, now very seriously ill in her home; and the following half-brothers, M. B., of Tampa, Florida, J. A., of Butler, I. O. and A. C., of Donora, C. M., of Virginia, and R. M., of New Castle. Funeral services were held at the home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon by his pastor, Rev. J. Richard Booth, assisted by the choir. Interment was made in St. Petersburg Cemetery. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and Modern Woodmen of the World Camp 6419, all of St. Petersburg. *should be Amos
