"Mrs. Alice Sherman, 69, of 948 Garfield avenue, died Tuesday night in the local hospital following a lingering illness. She was the wife of Jesse Sherman who survives with five sons, Charles, Vern, William Sherman of Logansport, Quincy of Idaville and Clarence of Royal Centre;three daughters, Mrs. Anna Beaver of Detroit, Mrs. Ethel Bausum and Mrs. June Mooney, both of Kokomo and several nieces and nephews. Funeral rites are to be conducted from the Church of God at the corner on South Cicott and Cliff Drive Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with the Rev.Bulander in charge. Interment will take place in the Burrows cemetery."
