Henry Hill Boyd was the only surviving child of Lewis Minter and Maria Winfrey Boyd. He married Jessie Adele Armstrong around 1900, and the couple had five children. Henry was a rural mail carrier and an elder in the Poplar Creek Presbyterian Church. He died of pneumonia at age 33.
