Death certificate gives age as 74 years, 4 months and 27 days. Daughter of George Shannon & Anna Smut*, both born Emlenton, Pa. Widow. Died of pneumonia. Son, Ralph M Nevel, of New Castle, Pa., was informant. Buried March 6, 1930.
*but have found no such couple. Actually daughter of Maurice Baker Shannon & Mary C Singleton. First child's name is Maurie/Maurice Baker Nevel, named for father.
Surname on death certificate is Cole, which she used on 1920 census, but can find no record of marriage. Tombstone says Nevel.
