John “J.G” Bryant age 63 of Smyrna, passed away on October, 9, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Mr. Bryant worked in the Body Shop for over 13 years at Nissan North America in Smyrna. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, playing practical jokes on his family and close friends, and spending quality time with his family. Mr. Bryant is preceded in death by his parents, George Neal Bryant Sr. and Christine Saylor Bryant Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Connie Bryant of Smyrna; daughters, Gina (Stephen) Jones of Murfreesboro, Kathy (Nathan) Arwood of Maryville, Kristen (Kyle) York of Murfreesboro and Cortney Bryant of Murfreesboro; son, Kasey Bryant of Smyrna; grandchildren, Lorelei Perry and Kayley York; brother, George Bryant Jr. of Winchester; sister, Marie Colwell of Rogersville, AR and special cousins, Cecil and Betty Haynes of Lynchburg. Visitation for Mr. Bryant will be Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 1-5pm at Moore Cortner Funeral Home.
