Raymond M. Abasta, passed away Thursday morning, October 1, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Adeline Abasta;
daughter, Marie and (Bill);
son, Raymond and (Liberty);
two granddaughters, Emma and Jayden and sister, Gloria Ridenbaugh.
NOTE: Mr. Abasta was a graduate of Tucson High School and Tucson Barber College. He received his barber's license in 1962.
Mr. Abasta was a past president of Local 709, Tucson's Barber
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Thursday, October 8, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave.
Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Family and friends may express condolences at carrillostucsonmortuary.comUnion.
