A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many, she will forever be remembered as the best Matriarch anyone could ask for, always caring for others, and will be deeply missed by so many. Mrs. Pahoresky was the inspiration to the annual Pahoresky-Gannon family reunion which included hundreds of close family and friends over decades celebrating great family traditions. Mrs. Pahoresky will be missed by all who loved her, just as she loved them. During her life she found time to be an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling the United States as well as worldwide trips with her husband.
On June 17, 1956, she married the love of her life, her devoted husband Floyd E. Pahoresky who survives at their home. Also surviving are her beloved children John (Kim) Pahoresky of Mantua, Debra (Gerald) Blake of Hiram, Victoria (Ed) Costa of Melbourne, Florida and Marian (Kevin) Phillips of Shalersville, her loving grandchildren Michael and Heather Pahoresky, Tammy King, Alexandria and Olivia Phillips, and great-grandchildren Declin and Taryn. She was preceded in death by her brother James Blake and sister Marilyn Hall.
No calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday October 7, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 11045 St. Joseph Blvd. Mantua, Ohio 44255, with Fr. Edward Stafford officiating. Final resting place will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shalersville Township, Ohio. All family and friends are invited to return following the burial services to a luncheon at St. Joseph's Church Hall at 1:00 P.M. The family requests NO FLOWERS PLEASE. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
