His first wife, Mary Elizabeth Bryant, was related to the Henry Ford family. They divorced in 1959.
His second marriage in 1962 was to Mary de Groot Mendels Steinbach Zwillman, the widow of New Jersey mobster Abner Zwillman. Mary Zwillman Wismer was appointed as the Titans' nominal chief executive officer.
He had two children: Wendy and Henry.
WISMER, HARRY M., Former resident of Port Huron, passed away Dec. 4, in New York City. Father of Wendy Wismer; son of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Wismer; brother of Mrs. Betty Barns, Donald M. and John F. Wismer.
Funeral services 1:00 p.m. Thursday from The First Methodist Church.
