Mass of the Christian burial will be held Tuesday Dec. 5, 1978 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Church in Dedham Rev. Henry Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery. Pallbearers include Steven Schreck, Bruce Schreck, Kenneth Brady, Kenny Irlbeck, Morrie Ringleb and Steve Ruhde.
Friends may call at Sharp Funeral Home after 3:30p.m. Monday Dec. 4, 1978. Rosaries will be held Monday at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Mrs. Irlbeck, the daughter of Mike and Mary (Blake) Mauer was born April 1, 1901 in Staceyville, IA. She was married to Frank Irlbeck January 15, 1924 at the Visitation Church in Staceyville.
The couple moved to a farm three miles southwest of Dedham where they lived until moving to Dedham in 1950. Mrs. Irlbeck had been at Carroll Manor for nine months.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Dedham and the church's Rosary Society and Ladies' Guild. She also was a charter member of the American Legion Ladies' Auxilary.
She is survived by a son, Clayton of Dedham, two daughters, Mrs. Alois Schreck (Virginia) of Dedham and Mrs. Donald Nelson (Bernice) of Las Cruces, N.M.; nine grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren; three brothers, Raymond of Staceyville, Irven of Albert Lea, Minn. and Albert of Sheboygen, Wis; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Langenfeld of Sheboygen, Wis, Mrs. Rosetta Hamen of Staceyville and Mrs. Martha Goetzinger of Omah, Neb. She was preceded in death
by her husband and two sisters.
