He was born Dec. 28, 1944, in Lancaster County, a son of the late Judson Dewey Adams and Beulah Lee Cauthen Adams. Mr. Adams served our great country in the U.S. Army and was very proud of his service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors, and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Adams is survived by a daughter, Crystal A. Vincent and her husband, Tim, of Lancaster; a son, Dennis Adams Sr. of Gaffney; a brother, Mike Adams and his wife, Cheryll, of Greenville; three sisters, Patricia Elliott and her husband, Roger, of Hartsville, Judy A. Walters of Lancaster and Linda B. Knight and her husband, Keith, also of Lancaster; and three grandchildren, Dennis "Dink" Adams Jr. and his wife, Heather, Ryan Vincent and Brandon Vincent.
The celebration of life funeral service for Mr. Adams will be 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at the chapel of Burgess Funeral Home. Burial will follow at High Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
