Loretta, 83, died at 9:50 a.m., at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home.

She was born to Frank and Rosa (Zumbrink) Schulte. On Sept. 19, 1942, she married Austin Remaklus, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, James, Coldwater; six daughters, Patricia (Marvin) Post, Ginny, Shirley (George) Koesters and Joan (Maurice) Voskuhl, all Coldwater, Sue (Dick) Muhlenkamp, St. Anthony, and Betty (Ernie) Schoenlein, Portland, Ind.; two brothers, Henry (Emerita), Coldwater, and Edward (Waneta), Celina; a sister, Roseann Wourms, Celina; a sister-in-law, Sue Schulte, Celina; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Alice; three brothers, Paul, Vernon and Norbert Schulte; a sister, Kathern Schulte; and a great-grandson.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann Rosary Altar Sodality, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 5135, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 470 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 3025, Coldwater.

Funeral Mass was 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating.
