My dear cousin, a long-time Find a Grave contributor, passed away suddenly following a year-long battle with Stage IV liver cancer when God sent his Angels to banish her pain and take her on her new journey.
After Dad lost contact with her, I found her while looking for our Oregon Pioneer memorials on this website. Our Grandfathers were brothers. Like many of our cousins, we spent numerous hours and days researching our families and swapping stories.

Linda K. Henderson 1947 - 2015 SANTEE Linda Henderson of San Diego, California passed away September 19, 2015. As a Daughter of the Oregon Pioneers, she was very proud of her Oregonian roots and enjoyed spending her time researching and studying family genealogy. Much of her adult life was spent living in California, which included 32 years in San Diego. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eunice Patterson, but she is survived by her husband, three sons and their spouses, one daughter and son-in-law, five grandchildren, one brother, and two sisters. She is greatly loved and will be missed, but there is comfort in knowing she is with the Lord.
