Marcella L. McGhee, formerly Marcella L. Megl, went to be with The Lord on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015. She passed away peacefully at Ozark River View Manor (Ozark, MO). She was born Marcella L. McMillen on Nov. 9, 1921 in St. Louis, MO to Edna and Jewel McMillen. She moved to Springfield during the 1970s.
Marcella was the widow of Albert F. Megl and Curtis M. McGhee. She is survived by her loving son, Albert J. Megl, and daughter-in-law, Rosemary; four grandchildren Jason Megl; Angela Megl; Adrienne Megl; Katherine Megl; and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving niece, Sheila Gould.
Marcella was preceded in death by her beloved parents, sister, June King; brother-in-law, Rev. Gilbert R. King; nephew, Jim King; great niece, Kristy Gould; and a daughter that died at birth.
Graveside service at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
