It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Agnes "Mae" Boudreaux LeBoeuf, 88, of Grand Lake announces her passing from this life into the loving arms of our heavenly Father on September 14, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mae was born on April 8, 1927 in Creole to Mayo and Lucia Theriot Boudreaux. She was a lifelong resident of Grand Chenier before moving to Grand Lake in 2004. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole and St. Mary of the Lake in Big Lake.

Her love was spending most of her time in her garden or kitchen, where she loved cooking and baking. She treasured her time with her family and especially her sisters, and was faithful to her Catholic Faith. Her generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Our Lord has blessed us with her in our lives, for this we are truly thankful.

She will be greatly missed by her five children, Lawrence and Ivy LeBoeuf of Grand Lake, Gary LeBoeuf of Cameron, Mark and Janice LeBoeuf of Grand Chenier, Mona and Bobby Pearce of Sweet Lake, and Richard and Missy LeBoeuf of Creole; twelve grandchildren, Marcus, Jessica, Jared, Kyle, Hunter, Chase, Chandler, and Abby LeBoeuf, Amy Ware, Shawnee and Wyatt Pearce, and Garrett Richard; and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters, Joyce Savoie, Geraldine Richard, and Martha Conner all of Grand Lake; one brother, Galton Boudreaux of Grand Chenier; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Dorca William LeBoeuf; a son, Myron Dale LeBoeuf; her parents, Mayo and Lucia Theriot Boudreaux; brothers, Charlie, Clarence "Bo Chalk", and Dewey Boudreaux; and a daughter-in-law, Angela Mudd LeBoeuf.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole. Her nephew, Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation Wednesday will begin at 9:00 AM in the Life Center at the church.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, Marcus, Jared, Chase, Kyle, Chandler, and Hunter LeBoeuf, Wyatt Pearce, and Garrett Richard. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Abby and Jessica LeBoeuf and Shawnee Pearce and Amy Ware.

The family would like to thank Dr. Karam and Dr. Cocchiara for taking care of her for so many years. Also a thank you to Synergy Home Health especially Shanna and Jim and Southern Hospice Care especially Diane and Stacy. We are very grateful for her granddaughter, Jessica and her sister, Martha for taking such great care of her.
