Dustin Ward Hartwell, 43, of South Charleston, passed away Sept. 5, 2015 in Pataskala, Ohio, while enjoying something he loved.

He was a graduate of South Charleston High School. Dustin was the life of the party wherever he was. He always helped people and went out of his way to do so. He truly loved his daughter and grandson — they were the light of his life.

Dustin is survived by his loving wife, Davi Hartwell; parents, Butch and Wanda Hartwell; sister, Kim Hinzman and her husband, Kenny Hinzman; daughter, Alyssa Marie Hartwell and her companion, Nate Jacobs; grandson, Oliver Issacs Jacobs; stepson, Benjamin Hill, his wife and two children; aunt, Wilma Skidmore; cousins, Jamie Corathers, his wife and five children, and David Corathers; three nieces; three nephews; three great-nieces; and one great-nephew.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Fox Hill Cemetery, South Charleston, with the Rev. Roger W. Hartwell officiating. A procession to the cemetery will leave Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, at 9:30 a.m.

Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at Fox Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
