CARVER -- James William, 81, of Tulsa, OK, went to be with his Heavenly Father and Creator on Sunday, August 6, 2006. He was the son of William Guy Carver and Margaret Beam.
Mr.Carver is survived by: his wife of 36 years, Oma Lee Hurst Carver; his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sharon Carver of Katy, TX; his son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Pamela Carver of Spring, TX; his daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Jeffery Conway of Charlotte, NC; and his sister, Corinne Madormo of New Jersey. Mr. Carver is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Carver was born in Clearfield, PA, attended Penn State University, in State College, PA and earned a Civil Engineering degree. Mr. Carver worked for many years and retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Tulsa. Jim Carver was a well loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, golfing buddy to many friends and will be sorely missed by everyone he shared his love and joy of life with everyday of his life on this earth. Graveside service will be 3 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Rose Hill, 835-4421.
