Johnnie Brown Aikens, age 79, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, September 5, 2015. He was of the Church of God faith. Johnnie was in the siding business for over 50 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Marie Aikens; daughter, Terry Cox; parents, Mance and Nanie Aikens; sisters, Dorothy Dodson, Margaret Gunther, and Flo Ann Aikens; brothers, Gordon "Red", Norman, and Carl Aikens.

Survivors include children, Johnny (Cathy) Aikens, Murfreesboro, Vickie Wilson, Murfreesboro, Jeff Aikens, Murfreesboro, Shannon (Scott) Hatcher, Woodbury; Several grandchildren and great-granchildren; brother Thomas (Jean) Aikens, Pikeville; sister, Mattie Solomon, Soddy Daisy; several nieces and nephews; two step-daughters, Sherry and Deborah.

Services will be Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will be in Collier Cemetery.
