Former City Resident Dies
William Aubrey, Oklahoma City, a former El Reno resident and a retired oil field welder, died last Thursday in Oklahoma City.
Mr. Aubrey was born Jan. 22, 1900, at Stonewall, and lived In El Reno from 1912 to 1944. He was a member of the Baptist church at Garber.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Pruett, Ketchikan, Alaska, and Mrs. Curtis Evans, Fort Worth, Tex.; two sons, Billy D. Aubrey, and Eddie Joe Aubrey, both of Oklahoma City; a brother, D. T. Aubrey, 220 North O, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wilson funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jack James, pastor of Trinity Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in the El Reno cemetery under direction of the Wilson funeral home.
