He was retired from the USAF and was a Mason, a Shriner and a member of VFW and the American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mildred Malone Wilson, sons, Joseph, Jr. and Randall A. Wilson of Whitmire and Robert D. Wilson of Rock Hill; a daughter, Mrs. Debra G. Barber of Whitmire; his mother of Whitmire; brothers, Jack and Robert S. Wilson of Fort Lauderdale FL; sisters, Mrs. Lois Miller of Whitmire and Helen Lawson of Manning; and grandchildren. Burial in Whitmire Cemetery. Gray Funeral Home.
