Mrs. James E. (Ines L.) Scott, 65, of Palestine Lake, Rt. 1, Mentone, died at 7:55 pm Wednesday at Kosciusko Community Hospital. A native of Kosciusko County, Mrs. Scott was born April 21, 1913 to Burton and Aurel (Secor) Hatfield and was a lifetime resident of this community. On Nov. 27, 1953 she was united in marriage to James E. Scott who survives. The deceased was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary and Women of the Moose at Warsaw. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Keith Wagner and Dee Wagner, both of Warsaw, Kenneth Wagner, Parker City, Ind.; two brothers, Eugene and Jesse Hatfield, both of Warsaw; four sisters, Mrs. Delmo (Pearl) Cerlesli, Mishawaka, Mrs. James (Evelyn) Hyde and Mrs. Dorothy Clark, both of Warsaw, Mrs. Lilliam Witham, Atwood; and six grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday at the King Memorial Home in Mentone with the Rev. Robert L. Morgan officiating. Interment will be in the Palestine cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 3 pm Friday.
