Mr. Horace Milton Adams, age 80, of Marion, died Sunday, February 15, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Adams was born in Winston-Salem, NC on August, 8, 1923 to the late Mary Osborne Adams & John Quincey Adams, Jr.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Adams retired as Plant Manager from Tultex, having worked for Washington Mills for over 40 years. He opened the Washington Mills Plant in Dobson, NC in 1952 and the Marion Plant in 1961.
He received a B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering from NC State in 1949.
He is a US Army Veteran having served in the Corps of Engineers in Germany.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by a son Gordon Milton Adams in December 1991.
Survivors include Margaret Bickel Adams, Wife of the home & Frances Bickel Jones, Sister-In-Law of Plymouth, NC.
