Anniston - Funeral services for Charity Ann Stewart, 93, of Anniston, will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Chapel with Jason Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 5-7 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Mrs. Stewart passed away Sunday in Anniston. Survivors include daughters, Dianne Pyron (Tom), of Tyrone, Ga., Denise Henegar (Tommy), of Eastaboga; sons, Tim Stewart (Pat), of Anniston and Jim Stewart, of Anniston; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Troy Robinson (Etta), of Jasper; daughter-in-law, Sue Stewart and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Willard Stewart and a son, Bill Stewart, of Ohatchee, and seven siblings. Pallbearers will be Trent Stewart, Ronald Wilson, Jeffrey Pyron, Justin Henegar, Sloan Wilson and Boyd Scoggins. Honorary pallbearers will be Gregory Pyron and Brandon Stewart. Mrs. Stewart was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was employed with Alabama Dry Dock Shipyard as a welder during World War II. She was the former owner operator of Stewart Service Station, and a member of New Haven Baptist Church.
