Glenn Chamberlain, 48, of Amarillo died Sunday, July 30, 2006.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with Daryl Roach, pastor of More Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Glenn was born Nov. 21, 1957, in Ardmore, Okla., to Gwindle "Bud" and Pat Chamberlain, and they moved to Amarillo when he was 1. He attended Oakdale Elementary, Bowie Junior High and then graduated from Caprock High School in 1976, where he was involved in band and played the French horn.

Glenn received the Lord as his Savior at the age of 9 at High Plains Baptist Church Camp. He married Lynette Bonney on May 7, 1976, in Amarillo. He attended Amarillo College while working as a camera salesman for J.C. Penney. He also worked as a manager for Burger King for nine years and was employed by Jackson Supply Co. as a sanitary supply salesman for many years prior to his illness.

He loved photography and many varieties of music. He had been involved with Prison Fellowship Ministries, was actively involved in church ministry and loved the Lord passionately with all his heart.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Lynette; a son, Matt Chamberlain and wife Niki of Amarillo; a daughter, Elizabeth Chamberlain; his parents, Gwindle "Bud" and Pat Chamberlain of Stillwater, Okla.; a brother, Dennis Chamberlain and wife Lynne of Oklahoma City; a sister, Becky Blessen and husband Doug of Stillwater; and 10 nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be to Prison Fellowship Ministry, 44180 Riverside Parkway, Landsdowne, VA 20176.

The family will be receiving guests at 3405 S. Virginia St.
