April 4, 1888. He was was the son of John Henry and Luvina McGinnis. He Married Bessie Owens in Alabama and they had four children Lulu (1908), Jasper J. (1909-1994), Lillie Mae (Gantt) (1911-1994), William R. (1913-1989) and Paul F. (1916-1989), Bessie died in 1917 in Etowah County, AL.
Thomas Henry married Lillie Brown in Alabama in 1920. The family moved to Laurens County, SC sometime in 1920's where they worked in the textile mill. Henry and Lillie had one child Jack A. McGinnis (1929-1971). I believe that Henry and Lillie separated sometime in the 1940's or 1950's.
Thomas Henry McGinnis died in the State Hospital in Columbia, SC in 1968. He donated his body for Scientific Purposes to the Medical College in Charleston, SC. The remains were cremated and buried in a communal grave on the campus.
