Our beloved Loving Wife, Sweetest Mama, Best Mema ever and Ornery Sister, Opal Lorene Cox, 85, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on November 11, 1929 in Mangum, Oklahoma to the late Odie Nabors and Fannie Bagwell Nabors. Opal was raised in Marshall County and lived all her life in Powell, Shay, and Enos before moving to Kingston. Opal was happily married to Marvin “Saucer” Cox for 68 years; they were married on November 1, 1946 in Gainesville, Texas. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday school and Opal enjoyed cooking, quilting, watching the Texas Rangers and working word search puzzles.
She is survived by:
