LIBERTY Mrs. Beverly Jean Sawyer Wright, 66, of 5955 Coble Church Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Moses Cone Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2002, at Pleasant Union United Methodist Church, 5929 Coble Church Road, with the Rev. Eddie Leggett and the Rev. Fred Hardin officiating. Burial will follow in Gilmore Memorial Park.
A native of Guilford County, Mrs. Wright was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents, Brady Elmer and Lula Mae Johnston Sawyer; son, Johnny Alan Wright; and brother, Brady Ray Sawyer.
She is survived by her husband, Buford Wright of the home; sons, Phillip Wright and wife, Kris of Snow Camp, Steven Wright and wife, Elizabeth of Liberty; four grandsons; and sister, Mrs. Lela Mae Ferguson of Liberty.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at Loflin Funeral Home, Liberty, and other times, at the residence.
