He was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Carolina, having worked in the Myrtle Beach office and transferred to the Florence, SC office nearly 10 years ago. He was a volunteer with the Florence Humane Society for 7 years. He loved the outdoors, walking his two dogs Monna and Lissa, gardening and cooking for family gatherings.
Was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Charles Stewart and paternal grandparents Jack and Mary Hattman and one aunt Connie Detrick.
