Mr. Archie Delalian, 81 of Ashburn, Virginia passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Reston Hospital in Reston, Virginia.

Archie was the second of twin boys, born Thursday, August 24, 1933 in Washington, DC, to the late Mushek Delalian and the late Armanhoe Adjamian Delalian. Archie was predeceased by his sister Margaret Delalian Seraydian in 1975.

Archie served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Railway Express Agency for 20 years. He continued on to serve his country with the DOD as a mail Courier until retiring in 1996.

He leaves his family to cherish his memory including his beloved wife of 54 years, Siranoush E. Delalian of Ashburn, VA, his son, George Delalian & beloved wife Joan, his twin brother, Charles M. Delalian of Ashburn, VA, two grandchildren, Brian Delalian of Leesburg, and Sarah of Wilmington, NC.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral on Friday, from 12 to 1 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Soorp Khatch Armenian Apostolic Church 4906 Flint Drive Bethesda, MD 20816, or to Alzheimer's Association 3701 Pender Drive, Suite 400 Fairfax, VA 22030.
