Services for Shirley Sue Froman will be at Crossroads Church on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 11AM with Rev. Morris Sapp and Rev. Mike Dillard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. Shirley passed away on August 1, 2015 at age 79. Shirley was born on August 9, 1935 in Claremore, OK to JoDan Mouton and Frances May (Ray) Mouton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Pat Melton and Joan Froman and her brother, Billy Joe Mouton. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Sunday School teacher for several years and truly loved children. She made many crafts for family and friends. She made many Easter Chickens and Rabbits for the church children. She was married to her late husband John for 58 years. She enjoyed working on their farm on Froman Road together for 56 years. Those family members who survive include; daughter: Sheryl and husband Stanley Kesler of Athens, GA, grandchildren: Shane Kesler and wife Jeanne of Danielsville, GA, Kimberly Tyson and husband Clint of Winder, GA; great grandchildren: Chandler and Tiffany Tyson, Colton Kesler and Ronnie and Aron Williams; sister: Dorothy and husband Joe Dewey of Chelsea, OK, sisters in law: Donna Froman of Claremore, OK, Linda Froman of Claremore, OK, Phyllis Froman of Oologah OK and Joyce Josey of Texas and many nieces and nephews. Lord and Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
