Perry, Edwin R, 70, of N 7th Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Saturday, July 23, 2005 in East Ohio Regional Hospital.
He was born in Wheeling, W Va on June 25, 1935, the son of the late Raymond H and Clara L (Saunders) Perry.
He was a retired employee of Ogden Newspapers, Wheeling, W Va, having worked as a press operator for 29 years, he was a member and served as an Elder of Grace Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry.
He is survived by his wife, Sally L (Youst) Perry, sons, E Eugene Perry of Dubuque, Iowa, two daughters, Carol L Vargo of Bridgeport, Ohio and Donna R (Michael) Coulter of Ogden, Kan, one brother Keith D (Marcia) Perry of Martins Ferry, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry, where friends will be received Tuesday from 6-8 pm and Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm.
Funeral services will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry on Thursday, July 28, 2005, where friends will be received from 10 am until time of service at 11 am with Rev William O Webster Jr officiating.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
Bereavement service by the Elders of the church will be held Wednesday at 7 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church Building Fund, Cor 4th and Hanover Streets, Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935.
