D.Leroy"Mac" McGraw,died Monday, November 8, 1965 at Perry, Florida following a heart attack. A native of Mississippi, he was born June 28, 1909 and had lived in Perry for the last nine years. The son of the late Henry McGraw and Zora Campbell McGraw. He was married to Nancy Watson McGraw. He served on the Perry Police Department before entering into boat building for Walker's Sportscraft. Mr. McGraw was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Watson McGraw of Perry;3 sons, Jack, David and Leroy McGraw, all of Texas, 3 daughters; Annette McGraw of Fort Worth, Texas, Linda Sue McGraw of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Janice Lee McGraw of Perry, Florida. Mother, Mrs. Zora Bronson of Mobile, Alabama, 1 brother, James E. McGraw of Laurel, Mississippi, and 1 sister, Mrs. Joseph Welden of Birmingham, Alabama.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, November 10, 1965 in the Chapel of Joe P.Burns Funeral Home of Perry, with the Reverend Mason Simmons officiating. Interment followed in Pisgah Cemetery with Joe P. Burns Funeral Home in charge.
